R. Wayne Hunt was born and raised in West Amwell Township in Hunterdon County, NJ. He began his real estate career in 1972 and founded the Wayne Hunt Agency in Ringoes in 1980. From 1985 through 1994, Wayne was active with the Hunterdon County Board of Realtors and was awarded Realtor of the Year (1991) and served as the President (1990). Most recently, he received the prestigious Realtor Emeritus Award, for being a forty-year member of the National Association of Realtors. In addition to real estate, Wayne is a past member of several local boards and currently serves on the Dr. Orlie Pell Fund which administers a safety net fund for those individuals in need of food, housing, clothing and medical services.
